Nerd-do-well

So I just finished Simon Peggs Nerd-Do-Well. It was really good. And since it was an audio book Simon Pegg read
it in that great british accent.

One thing that caught me off guard was that half of the book is an autobiography and the other half is a short fiction story.

I wasn’t that impressed with the fiction part although it was kind of funny. In it Pegg is a playboy spy with a droid/robot.

The autobiography part is great. He tells stories from his childhood about swimming, his first job, love, and meeting Nick Frost. I have to admit I did get a wee bit teary eyed when he was talking about Shaun of the dead and talking to George Romero. It’s a very touching moment. I highly recommend this book especially if you are a fan of Spaced or Shaun of the Dead.
